            I consider my art to be craft more than fine art. I produce art that has a purpose. I feel that the pressure of putting a meaning behind everything I create is nonsense, because most times I just get the drive to create something just cause, I don’t plan it out, I don’t draw up rough sketches, I just do it. There are times where I get an idea, plan it out to the thoroughly, and then produce the art. Most other times, with my crafts for instance, I simply go for it just to figure out how things work and fit together. Most of my pieces do not contain any cultural heritage, or political meanings because that’s not what I’m about as an artist.

            Through the years, I’ve spent a lot of time attempting other approaches to art making I tried painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, sculpture, fiber arts, photography, and wood crafting. I consider myself a well-rounded artist, but my main passion is for crafting garments such as t-shirts, jackets, hats, etc. In other words I’m a seamstress, but I prefer being called a “seamster”, because being a called a seamstress sounds to feminist. I believe that my style of art would be more appealing to young adults, but I have had people of an older generation request my art and crafts. At the end of the day, creating art is what I love to do, and I will always be creating no matter what.
